We’re TLC Gardening, a family run business based in Headington, Oxford. We look after gardens right across Oxfordshire with the same care we’d give our own. That means regular, reliable visits, honest advice, and work timed so the bees and butterflies get a fair share of the garden too.

Whether your garden needs a little upkeep or a full rescue, there’s a service to match. Here’s what we can help with.
Bees and pollinators
We’d all love more bees in our gardens, and we know how to make it happen. We’ll suggest pollinator-friendly plants, help you carve out space for wildflowers, and time our work around the creatures that call your garden home. A busy, buzzing garden is a healthy one.
Lawn maintenance
Mowing, strimming and edging, done properly and done regularly. Crisp edges make the whole garden look cared for, and a lawn that’s looked after through the year is far happier than one that gets a panic cut before a barbecue.
Weeding and tidying
Weeding, deadheading and a good general tidy. It’s the job nobody looks forward to, which is lucky, because we genuinely enjoy it. Regular weeding keeps borders healthy and stops small problems turning into big ones.
Hedge cutting and trimming
From neat little box hedges to the towering ones that have got a bit ahead of themselves, we take on all sizes. Every cut is done in an environmentally friendly way, with nesting birds and wildlife always in mind.
Border creations
Bulbs, annuals, biennials or wildflowers, we’ll work with you to plan borders that bring colour all year round. Tell us what you love, and we’ll share what will thrive in your soil and your spot.
Garden clearance
Got a garden that’s run away with itself? Overgrown, neglected or inherited spaces don’t scare us. We’ll clear it back, take stock with you, and help bring it back to life.

Regular slots or one-off visits
Every garden is different, so you choose how we help.
Regular slots are our favourite way to work. You’ll always know your garden looks great, and you’ll never be stuck waiting for someone to fit you in. Because we see your garden often, we spot problems early and can time each job around the seasons and the local wildlife.
One-off visits are perfect for a seasonal tidy, a big hedge cut, or getting a garden back on track before handing it over to regular care.
Not sure which suits you? Just ask. We’ll give you an honest answer, even if that’s “you only need us twice a year”.
